Why do people think inducing is bad???

Please no negative comments. If your gonna be rude don't bother posting.. Now why are women scared of induction? I understand it makes your contractions harder but it gets things done so much faster than doing it on your own. And I've heard people say its unnatural, how is it unnatural? You give birth just like any one else...

Because an induction increases the chances of having to get a csection. Plus it's putting a drug in your body, and pitocin can increase risk for uterine rupture

Induction have a greater risk in leading to C-sections, also can cause issues with the baby during labor.
I was induced my 1st due to medical issues and that labor was a breeze compared to my 2nd, who I went into labor on my own with.

It is unnatural because they use synthetic hormones to force your body into labor. It is harder on your body and the baby. Not to mention it can lead to increased risk of uterine rupture.

There are a lot of complications with it. Baby may not be fully developed, and it can lead to csections because your body isn't ready and stalls.

They dont think inducing is bad- they think inducing just because you're tired of being pregnant is selfish, since babies know when they want to be born. Inducing is supposed to be for medical reasons, not just because you're a few days overdue.
I went a week overdue and I still didnt want to be induced, but they said I needed to because I was low on fluid. That and getting induced increases your risk of having an emergency c-section.

Babies are born naturally meaning you went into labor on your own.
It is but natural when you have pitocin induced contractions.
Babies will come when they are ready.

It's unnatural because it doesn't allow your body to start labor on your own. Some feel the drugs they give you for inductions, creates bigger (avoidable) problems, such as increased % of c-sections.

Because it smurfing sucks. My induction labor...bleh. It also just takes part of the fun out of it for me. The element of surprise.

If baby isn't ready to come it can cause complications.

This! I'm all for it if medically necessary, but not because someone is sick of being pregnant. I was actually induced due to preeclampsia and it was very rough.

So because my body won't put itself into labor I'm unnatural?
