Adoption, would you ever D&D

This is purely out of curiosity.
If you ever had the means and an opportunity to adopt, would you? Meaning, if you had enough money and it wasn't so difficult. And if you would, would you adopt from your own country or somewhere else?
I personally would love to adopt if I could afford it and if it wasn't so difficult. I probably would adopt a child from another country, probably third world for a few reasons. 1) being I would like to give the child opportunities they wouldn't have in their own country and 2) I wouldn't want to worry about the child's family trying and taking them back.
Also, would you want to adopt a newborn, infant, toddler, child, teenager? Would the race of the child matter to you?

this i dont need to go threw sleep less nights again, but for people who can not or have not had kids they will adopt a baby.

yes I would adopt! we actually thought about it after our first daughter was stillborn....
I would prefer from my own country first if we could...and would love a baby, but would take any child really

Well my thing is that there are ALWAYS people who will want a white newborn

I'd rather take in a kid that has been forced into the system and needs more help.

I was adopted..so yes.
From america because foster care sucks..trust me.
A teen or preteen because they are less likely or sometimes not ever adopted because they are older and people dont want to deal with it.
As for the race..it really wouldnt matter to me..maybe my hubby however.

I would not. I can't see myself ever wanting a child so much that I'd jump through the hoops of adoption. I mean if it was a family member's child who needed a home or something I would but just a random baby? No.

As desperate as we are for a daughter, I still don't think we ever would. If by some long shot we did, I wouldn't want an older child.

If I wanted more kids, yes. Currently I'm done having kids, but if 5 or 10 years from now I feel like I want another, I'd adopt. I'd probably adopt from the US and the age would be from 1 or 2 up. My husband says he'd rather adopt a 2 year old, but I would probably prefer a little older. I know they don't get adopted much. I would not want to adopt a baby.

Race wouldn't matter a ton, but at the same time I'd be worried that I wouldn't be able to give a good connection to ones cultural background if they were not the same ethnicity as me. However, it wouldn't really matter I think in my choice.

I would adopt from my own country or from my son's country. I don't want any newborn, I'd like a toddler.

Someday, yes, if I have the means.
I'd want a special needs child, especially if I have lots of money.

DH and I have talked about this a few times, we would adopt from our own country and a child over the age of 10

Honestly I'd love to adopt, probably a little girl most likely only because I have 2 boys. If it wasnt so much money, I would totally be doing it. You would figure they would make it more reasonable for all types of families to adopt.
