Breast feeding from a bottle.

posted 7th Oct
Today the baby and I are going to church and we have no where at church for me to go breast feed her because we are in the middle of a remodel, anyways I pumped and was just gonna use a bottle but what do you do when there's no where to warm up the bottle?

I guess u could run hot water over it in the bathroom. I'm pretty sure it has to be warm she is only a week old.

I would just breastfeed her at church. Bring a blanket or something if you feel the need to cover up

That's my problem she won't feed very well under a blanket. If I cover her face she gets fussy.

I'd still just breastfeed in church. You don't wanna risk nipple confusion

You could turn your back to the service, sit in your car, I'm sure that there is a bathroom somewhere in there.

Just sit at the back and nurse. Wear layers so you are covered up if thats whats worrying you. I usully wear a tank top underneath that I can just pull my boob out of and a shirt overtop - that way no chest or tummy gets exposed.

I'd go outside instead, if its still warm where she is... so many germs in the bathroom and her baby is just a week old.

do u have a narthex where u walk in and hang your coats and socialize before the service when u walk in the sanctuary? Is there a nursery or a cry room of some sort? Maybe if u talk to the pastor ahead of time he'd let you use an office somewhere.

Right now they are rebuilding our church so our services are being held at an elementary school which sucks but maybe I'll just see if any classrooms are open or something because I definitely don't wanna feed her in a bathroom. I go out to the car even to change her because I ding think.public restrooms are clean enough for her lol. And can anyone tell me.

There's bound to be somewhere. A library. Even if u just go in the hallway. So what if a few people see you. I think they'd rather see u feed your baby than have her scream during service. Don't stress too much mama. Just feed her and save your milk for a night out when she's a little older to not get nipple confusion. I think she's just too young to have a bottle quite yet.
