Are sharp cervical pains good?

Are these a good sign near the end, or just typical? I don't have them ever really, I'm hoping she's more applied to the cervix now after I sat on my new yoga ball. I had DH get one just for me to sit on when uncomfortable and to help her move down over the next couple of weeks. It hurts really bad though when I have one of the pains, I can tell it's shooting right through my cervix and makes me jump..but seriously..smurfing ow.

i get them every now and then, dont know if they mean anything though..lol
but smurf, they do hurt.

I don't know if they are good or bad but i have been getting them more frequently.

i had some of those when i was at the hospital and the nurse said the baby might have brushed a nerve. it sucks but theres nothing really you can do other then try and move baby lol

I went to my MW about this and she said it is the baby sitting just on top of your cervix, so dont think there is anythink to worry about unless it is constunt but looks like a good sign baby is getting closer. good luck x

But could also be where baby has settled in your pelvis area and could be moving and causing you to spasm. My midwife said the reason I'm feeling it is most likely because my little boy is 2/5ths and it's very tight when he moves etc!!
