If he gets to go out then you should get some time out too. I have a 3.5 year old, and a 3 week old baby. My DH works alot also. He just started hunting for the first time this year...and he went out hunting yesterday. It was planned a couple weeks ahead of time so it was ok. But since he was going out all day hunting with a friend, i made plans today to do lunch with my friends and shopping with my mom..so dh stayed home today with the kids. We need time for ourselves sometimes and thats ok. Our men also need time for themselves. So i think if he goes out once in a while you need to plan a day for yourself as well...even if its just a couple hours. I also will be planning a date night for both of us coming up soon since we need to get out together once in awhile too   You should do the same!

Yeah lol they just don't get it. Well he came home in the morning, he fell asleep at his buddies house. I didn't talk to him them went back to bed for 2 hours lol. Then he said he was sorry, he didn't mean to be out so late. He said his buddy wanted him to come ack tonight but he said no, he was staying home with us  . We had a nice dinner and some fun   lol. He offered to get up with the baby tonight too so I can sleep.

Yeah, my neighbor said she's gonna kidnap me soon fr a girls night lol. If we find a sitter I can trust we definately need a date night soon too!

Ha! I hear you! I drive DD to school every day and pick her up, because they dropped her off in like pedophile alley 20 miles away from home when she was in kindergarten...The excuse? "She got off the bus there..." Yeah because a 5 year old should be aloud to make decisions like that....=/ Totally cool to just let her do w/e the hell she wants...lol
