haha My nephew does that all the time when he wants to help get his juice/water/milk/ect. He likes helping get his own food and water...I guess it makes him feel like a big boy or something...idk.

Can't say I blame you for that one! haha I about have a heart attack every time I'm baking because my nephew runs over and wants to help.
He gets to help stir noodles/oatmeal/ect...if I'm holding his hand on the longest wooden spoon we have, and the other one is safely between the two of us. haha He's 2, and is pretty good at not trying to touch the hot things...he says "ow hot" and looks...but won't touch.

Smart kid! See that's what I was wanting to do with her, and then I caught her standing on the dishwasher door reaching for stuff on the counter once and I thought to myself, what if I had something in the oven and she pulled the door down and went to stand on it....and that's how we got the baby gate the next day,lmao....

Oh no no no...you guys havent seen almost having a heart attack.
My stepdad was out back grilling burgers, kids were out back playing. I look out the window to check on the kids and find my 7 yr old and 6 yr old niece standing in a chair, grill flaming hot with burgers cooking, and both of the kids were flipping burgers. I almost lost it. All I could do was picture my child losing his balance and touching the grill with the palm of his hands.
