How much should my week old baby be eating???

I am breast feeding and it says online my baby should be eating 8-12 times a day but my son sleeps all day he only wakes up to eat 2 or 3 times a day...should I be concerned???

Feed on demand. Is your baby having regular wet diapers?

is baby awake more at night and eating? how many poopy and pee diapers? idk 3-4 feedings a day seems too little to me. how long is baby nursing for?
my daughter slept a lot during the day but she still ate 6-8 times int he day time for about 20-30 mins

He should eat when he's hungry.
I fed on demand with Heathen. Never woke her up to eat. Doc said she gained too much weight in her first week and to cut back feedings. I didn't. If she was hungry, she got the boob

babies know when they are and arent hungry. as long as you're feeding on demand and your LO is gaining weight, everything is fine.

He sleeps during the day and at night...I feed him when he wakes up and wants to be fed...I had a c-section so I'm on pain meds could that be making him sleep too much???

I change him 5-6 times a day but he goes right back to sleep after I change him

At a week old I think I was still nursing every 2-3 hrs....

Is it seedy? if so, yeah that's normal.
