re: VBAC and induction?

I just had a vbac I'm pp 6 days . I started having contractions Friday night they had me walk twice that day for a few hours. My contractions were 2-5 mins apart but I wasn't dialating great . Saturday went from finger tip dialated to 4 cm. They did 2 membrane sweeps and when I was dialated to a 4 I got admitted to l&d got epidural. Next day stayed at 4 cm all day. They told me they were giving me 4 more hrs because they broke my water and said if nothing changed they were gonna do a csection . They did give me pitocin but a very low dose so my contractions would more close together. So needless to say I dialated from 4-10 cm in 2 hrs ! Only 35 mins of pushing and had my sweet little girl! But I'd say my labor was helped along not really induced. But I'm so happy I got to do it. I feel 1000 x's better with vaginal birth than csection. Hope you get to have your vbac. Mine was a great experience I wouldn't trade for anything!

thank you so much. you have given me hope :-) I feel so robbed of my birthing experience with my 2nd. I was rushed into surgery and I understand why they had to do it, but it was horrible and I was the last one to meet my son :-(
