Baby name... Help!!

So I found out today that we're having a boy : ) Super stoked, but my husband is having difficulties deciding... If we use my husband's name (he's the 3rd) Thomas Noah, then this baby would obviously be the 4th... can you think of any cool nicknames for the 4th? We already looked on google, but Ivan doesn't suit us... We were kind of thinking something short. Oh and last name starts with a T. : )

How about switching it to Noah Thomas? Either way, the name is Awesome   I love Noah.

No if we keep it it'll be the same as the 3 generations before him, lol, and i'm not too fond of noah, i just like thomas : ) Hubby isn't even sure he wants to use the "generational" name... after 6 yrs of saying if we had a boy i had no choice but to name it that!! So now i'm completely blank on name ideas, hahaha, way to go!

Call him by his medley name. Or Tommy is a cute nickname.

Only problem with being a 4th is all the nickanmes using his real name are taken, his grandpa is called tommy, dad is called trey. SO... we're at a standstill, lol. ugh this is so frustrating! I mean yea i have 4+ months, but we kinda want to decide soon!

I love the initials TNT so i wanted to atleast keep that... Ugh so many choices!

I had the same problem. My son would have been the forth but i said i wasn't doing it. You dont have to if you dont want to. I changed my sons name but still used the first name as the middle name for my son just to make my husbands family happy.

It's not that I don't want to, I love the tradition, and I told my husband it's up to him. But he seems kind of iffy on it? Like he can't decide, hahah, I guess we'll see what we can come up with.

What about Tate?
I figured if your husband can get Trey from Thomas then you can get Tate from it.

You could always use part of the name to still honor his family and decide to go your own way with the rest of the name. Maybe do a combo. Take a family name from his side and one from yours, that way you are honoring both sides of the family.

Well it was trey because he was the third, (tres) so alot of people are called Trey. I'm sure we'll figure something out eventually!
