Do whats best for you and DS. If your not happy then leave. He sounds like he is being pretty smurffy right now, and he needs to grow up a little bit more. I would kick my Husbands ass if he ever told me something like that. It is one thing if you have the extra money to spend, but he is being ridiculous. Good lck hun. Just because you and your SO arent together doesnt mean that he wont be in your LO's life. Dont let that thought stop you from finding someone that makes you happy. And me and my BD fought about the exact same thing, as a matter of fact, we got into it pretty bad this morning to the point that I just left because I didnt want to even look at him anymore.

Maybe you guys just need a break. If you have anywhere to go, then go. Get a job. File for CS. He can still be in your kid's life.

I know he can still be in his life but my dad was never in my life, and I just want SO to be in his like all day everyday. I never had that and I don't want him to miss out on that.

It isn't worth it to stay in an unhappy relationship though. It's totally possible to co parent efficiently & have a happy child too. My friend has it.

I'ts way better for the kid to have two HAPPY parents that are separate than to have two that are fighting all the time together.

we dont need men in our lifes that arent going to put forth the effort to help with the little ones they helped create.
