Hmm...

Okay, so the last time the baby was weighed was at 27 weeks & 1 day I believe. They said the baby was a bit above average in size (not by much, 56th percentile). But now everyone is thinking that because I am so tiny & he is getting so big that I may have to have a c-section. I will be 30 weeks on Monday & I'm getting nervous about labor. I would much rather do it vaginally, but I may not have a choice. Any advice for a nervous mommy to be?

That's silly, you always have a choice unless medically necessary. Women have big babies vaginally all the time. My mom was pretty tiny and had a 10 lb baby. You can decline. Plus ultra sounds can be way off! It doesn't mean your baby is going to be big.

Classic. No, u/s can be way off when determining weight. Just because you are small does not mean you won't be able to push out a child. You do have a choice unless it becomes an emergency that concerns you and/or your baby's health.

They told me that my daughter looked too big and that I might have to have a c section as well. I had her vaginally with no problem. I wouldnt worry about it. For some reason, I'm seeing that docs [at least the ones I hear about on here anyway] are getting c section happy.

I was told dd was going to be 10 lbs+ and don't be surprised if they have to rush me into a csection (I wouldn't induce or schedule one). She was 6 lbs and I had no problems.

Okay awesome, makes me feel better lol. A girl I know just had a baby girl a few weeks ago & had to have a c-section because she was too big. So that, on top of what others have been saying was making me paranoid. Of course, lol...I just that's just part of being pregnant.
