HELP, did I ovulate? Charting/OPKs questions please.

I'm so confused... I don't know when I ovulated, if I even did... and just my luck I didn't wake up in time to get a proper temperature yesterday only confusing me more.

I had some SEVERE cramping on both sides CD 13 around 4pm

Can anyone give me some insight please. :'(

I'm in the exact same position. One test that looks almost positive (or maybe it is and I just don't know how to read them) followed by one that is clearly not positive yet temps haven't spiked, only slowly risen and not by the minimum .4 they say you need to have to confirm ovulation. It's like I'm describing my own charts and tests! I'm just hoping to get a solid temp spike tomorrow, so I guess waiting till your next temp reading would be my only suggestion

You can o as late as 36 hours after a pos test so maybe you still have a couple of days, either way it's baby dancing time  . I'm using it to prevent pregnancy so my hubby is in a bad mood until that temp spike, lol

So I have a couple of questions... How long are your cycles? Are you doing the opks? What cd are you on today? S your temp from today on the chart?

Did you get your temp today at the same time as Thursday?

I used to chart before my last m/c and what usually happens is that your temp will drop just before you ovulate. I suspect that when you missed your temp yesterday it was probably your dip day and the difference between what you would've gotten yesterday and today would probably have met the .4 difference requirement. I suggest you keep temping over the next couple of days and if it continues to rise, then I would think that you did ovulate on day 13.

The chart is a little confusing looking to me, but the first CD 13 looks positive to me.

July 4th cycle was 24days
July 28th cycle was 27 days
August 24th cycle was 30 days.

I used OPKs yeah.

I'm CD 14.

My temp from today is on the chart, the last one.

Today's temp had to be an hour earlier because I worked earlier than usual.

Argh, I'm so mad at myself for missing yesterday's temp!!! I could just cry. T_T But yeah, I'll keep temping and hope I don't have to next month. It's frustrating and confusing.

I know this isn't my post but I'm having the same issues and wanted to ask you a question. On cd 18 I had a slight dip, got a pos opk on cd 19 and over the days: cd 19, 20, and 21 I got a total rise of .43 over those 3 days. Does that mean I o'd on cd 19? And if I'm trying to avoid pregnancy, is it a safe time have sex again?

this is my temp chart if that helps you to answer my question as you can tell I had a couple of days at the beginning where I didn't chart at the same time as I did all the other days so thats why those are out of whack.

Well, cd 13 opk looked positive, but if your cycles are getting longer, you might O later. I think that you won't really know until your temp stays up a few days. My temp used to range from 96.3-96.6 before O. Then the day of O it was 96.1 then the next morning (presumably after O) it would go up to 96.8 and continue to increase to about 97.2. Then it would hit 96.8 usually the day before AF. It did that like clockwork for two months.

What is the name brand of opks are you using? Cuz I was using the Answer brand opks and I didn't even get a slightest bit of an increase in the test line. What was weirder is that the control line most of the time was super faint. I'm not buying them anymore. I was wondering what you were using so I can find a better brand. But CD 13 definitely looks positive. So I'd say within 24-36 hours from there you ovulated or your body prepared to. I won't say for sure you ovulated because they say even using the opks that ovulation is not definite. It's just the surge it gets. If I don't get a positive on ovulation in the next two months then they're gonna do a CD21 blood test on me to see if I'm actually ovulating and if not they're gonna help me out and put me on a fertility med to go along with the metformin they put me on.
