Havnt felt baby move all day

maybe its just me but my son is very active normally and for some reason today i have not felt him move been up for about 8 hours and have tried drinking a cold glass of water. talking to him even ate ice cream but no response and its starting to make me worry.

How far along are you?

Drink ALOT of OJ and lay on your left side.....how far along are you?

im at 26 weeks as of last Wednesday

I went more than 8 hours before without feeling movement a few times, especially the closer I got to my labor. I don't know how far along you are, but if you are super concerned about it, or do not feel the baby within a few more hours, I would call your obgyn and go get monitored.

I can't remember when you start kick counts. But just lay on your left side, drink something really cold and/or something really sugary. If you're really worried it wouldn't hurt to call your OB.

This is my first baby and it doesn't help i am a worry wort i always worry im doing something wrong

I'm not 100%, but I think that may be normal at that week of gestation..I did not always feel the baby then...maybe I am wrong but if you think something is wrong, call your obgyn.

Okay you are still not far enough to keep track really...but if you are really worried go in...mothers instinct trumps anything IMO....drink a lot of OJ anyway tho...it always worked for my son...it might for you too

At 26 weeks I felt him move a lot, and at 31 weeks I felt nothing an entire weekend. Members here called me idiotic etc for not going to L&D, but I wasn't in an area/good time to be able to get to L&D.. I was told "your baby is probably moving right now, and you're just lying" among other drama, and I was told I was a bad mom for not rushing to the hospital. I'm glad I didn't, as it took 3 days but he started moving after 3 days of worrying, and is healthy and wonderful and just fine. Babies have active periods and sleepy periods, and maybe he's be a lazy bear. If it continues after 48 hours, then I would worry.
Things to provoke movement:
*Lay on your left side
*Drink a soda or sugary snack
*Walk
*Drink lots of water, reguardless!!!!!
