Things like that used to irk me, then I realized my one favorite girls name starts with a C, just like my sons name, I realized I don't care. I would rather people go "lol" than me choose something I am less happy with just to "break it up" so to speak. My name also starts with C - totally unintentional and I would never skip over a name just to skip having the same initials.

It is only an issue if the names sound alike. Example: Anna and Alice are way less matchy than Anastasia and Annabelle...ykwim?
I've no problem with it.
