We all have someone we vent to, it's weird that he only vents to this person when he is pissed at you, but it's not something that would bother me.

I guess? I just don't understand what the purpose of the poll is? To see if it's normal that a guy calls someone (M or F doesn't matter I guess) that he never talks to when you get in a fight?

If it is a girl, I would be a little ify on it, (only because the only time they talk is when we fight) but if it is a guy, I wouldnt mind..

If you and your boyfriend get into an aruguement and you walk away from the situation... but when you walk in you find your boyfriend on the phone with a friend venting about your relationship. You never do this with your friends and he never calls them until you fight. Do you think that this is a normal thing or weird thing for a man to do. THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG ANSWER IT IS A MATTER OF OPINION.

Sounds normal to me. My husband has one friend he vents to when it comes to us fighting, but I understand why he onlt goes to him. His friend has been married for 10 years, and has been through alot with his wife, and also has 4 kids, so he is just looking for some support, and advice. Most of his other friends are either just dating, or single. Even if that wasnt the case, it still sounds normal to me. I do however think it is wrong to vent to family members.

And yeah, it's not something that SO or I do, so it's not normal for us... but, I have a friend who only ever talks to me when she is pissed off.... I calm her down but apparently am not cool enough to hang out with or talk to otherwise. I swear she thinks I'm her therapist!
