Car toys help!!

Sorry but this is a post and run. I just thought of this as I was walking out the door...

I have a 2.9 year old and I need to have SOMETHING to put in the car for him to play with. Right now I just use small toys that he has from the house but they don't work good enough because he usually ends up "dropping" them a million times and cries until I can stop and pick it up. What do you use to keep your toddler busy in the car?

Leapster. Really, it's a lifesaver!

Ipod touch. Games and movies all the way.

I have some books, a small magna-doodle, and her "happy computer." It's a learning laptop type thing/
She'll be 4 in November

DD is almost 2 and she loves my ipod. I have a fish app where you just touch the screen and the fish swim to your finger. That and little paint/doodle apps seems to keep her occupied a lot in the car!

I looked into the leapster and that looks super cool. Torn between the leapster and the leap pad or should I get both?
