what does everyone think of the name SOFIA
im due a wee bouncing princess on 26th of jan and tht the name we had but i cant decide weither i really like it

other name suggestions welome and appreciated 

I like the name but prefer the spelling Sophia.  

I like Sofia, but its SUPER popular. Sophia is actually #1 on the most popular names list for this year.

I don't know why but I like it spelt Sophia. I love the name though.

My 19mo old is named sophia..  
It was going to bee spelled like yoi have it..but I was on a lot of pain meds after a emer. C section so I spelt it the other way lol

the reason we spellin it that way is we not wantin people to call her sophie

i prefer Sophia. Sofia looks too close to Sofa for me.

and just an FYI people can still call her Sophie with the name Sofia.

I like the name, but as was mentioned it is #1 on the name list this year. Have you considered something similar like Sonya?

Sopiah, would be pronounced So-pee-uh or So-pie-uh. i owuldn't use that spelling at all.

are you open to suggestions? or are you stuck on Sophia/Sofia?

I adore Sofia (this spelling), but it's extremely popular - it's in the top 20 names TWICE (once as Sophia and once as Sofia).
