How many cans

Of formula did you typically go through in a week when baby was newborn? Just curious.

none!

My daughter went home on almost four onces at a feed so i would have tosay about twoish but i got wic also

One, if that. She only drank 2 oz every 3 hours or so.

hmm i dont really remember, i know he was drinking 2-3 ounces every 2 hours. Def a few days. i mean he's drinking 8 ounces every 4 hours or so now...and a can lasts 2 days.

Oh goodness! My daughter is a week old and she eats about three right now. I make her two and if she's still hungry, I will make another. Most of the time she is still hungry. She was born 6 lbs 9 oz and dropped to 6 lbs 6 oz in the hospital and as of thursday at her dr appt she is 6 lbs 13 oz.

I get wic also and I get 9 cans a month. I was just wondering how many to know if that would be enough to last and if not just trying to see how many I will need to buy.   Thanks for your answer!

Op, I didn't start formula til 4 weeks, but we went through about a can or maybe a little more per week, at that age.

One can lasted 2/12 days roughly, but he ate 4 oz every 2 hours. He is a big eater lol.

he'll be a year this month..lol. we are having solid feeding issues..the boy just wants his bottle lol.

I'd say two. I bought the containers (1.45lbs) and its like 2 cans.

Lol wow! Ya my daughter eats around 3 oz every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I think the cans I get are like the 12.5 oz or something. Are those the ones you got?

Yeah Enfamil brand but i supplement with the parents choice brand and it doesnt effect her any but you get twice the formula for half the price

About a can and a half a week I think lol it's hard to keep track. He eats 3-4 ounces every 2-4 hours right now. He'll be a month old tomorrow.
