birth control

I have the mirena right now and i absolutely HATE it! Im planning on getting it taken out next month but dont know what other birth control i should get on.

What birth control do you have? do you like it? what are the side affects?

I got preg with my last baby with it in... I think they should pay for his college lol...

We just use spermicidal condoms now... I'm soo scared of everything... and I don't want to get fat from bc lol I always gain weight on bc...

I was on Yaz, had to get off of it for fertility testing. I was on Yasmin for years, and before that I was on Levora for a year. Levora is my absolute favorite. No side effects, no weight gain, perfectly regular cycles with NO menstrual cramps and a lighter flow. I recommend it!

Is mirena the kind that goes in your arm??

The one that goes in your arm made both my sister and my best friend have bad sleeping habits and gain a bunch of weight so i do NOT suggest that.

I loveeeed yaz... so mad we can't get it here anymore, when I asked for yaz again after baby number 2, my dr. said no and gave me ortho tri cyclen... I gained 15lbs

No mirena is the one that is inserted into your uterus.

yea i heard bad things about that one. I already gained 40 lbs with mirena, it would suck if i gained any more lol

Mirena is the hormonal iud, it sucks lol

I had a really bad reaction to it twice, like fevers, chills, and feeling like crap for like a week, 1 time they took me to hosp, and I would prob still take it if I could   only thing I didn't gain weight on and actually worked lol

i gained a ton of weight on the depo shot and had my period for three months striaight.
