I admire them too, because I honestly for myself couldn't handle that. My heart would break and it would haunt me. I look at my daughter and I couldn't imagine doing that to her. I know people say they are a fetus at that time but that fetus made my beautiful little girl..
I had a MC and had to get the operation (D&E) that is the same as an abortion to get the baby out. And that was a horrible expirience.

I had a miscarriage too. thank god i didnt need a dnc. Couldnt imagine.

It was horrible! I was all alone, taken back into this huge room with white walls and the doctor 2 nurses and the anestisiaologist.
The doctor scared me and told me to imagine my cervix completely shut and that they have to pry it open to an 8.

I can't remember the different between a D&E and D&C
But I know there is one. I think D&C is the scraping. And D&E is full evacuation.
