This little boy was only six weeks old and tragically he's no longer here on this earth. His name was James Childers and a friend of his parents shook him so violently that it bruised his brain, caused abdominal injuries, and broke multiple bones. The 20 year old guy suspected of the murder was investigated last year after a small child suffered a broken leg in his care but no one did anything about it.

This makes me so angry. The place I live is constantly dropping their investigations. A few years back a family friend was found in a parking lot with his head smashed in, one day before he was to testify in a drug-related case. The conclusion? Accident. ACCIDENT. I am highly doubting that. And now, this poor little boy's death. Maybe if this man had been looked at a little more closely this innocent baby would still be here. ): I get it, mistakes happen. People aren't predictable. My own niece was murdered and I never in a million years would have suspected it to happen. But still... All of this was preventable.

I did not know this family but I feel just terrible for them. ):
