Spoiled my girls...again lol ;D

posted 5th Oct
I was at the store and I saw a snack cup that I thought would be perfect for Novalee!

A munchkin snack cup, keeps the snack inside the cup even when your LO (like mine loves to do lol) runs around swinging the cup all over, shaking it up and down, dumping it upside down...shall I go on? Lol. I thought it would be perfect for her, even got her some little packs of goldfish to try it out, seems to be working great so far!

But of course since I got Novalee something, I had to get something for my Nessy Noodles, and I saw this:

3 compartment formula dispenser, also made by munchkin! I've been wanting to get her one forever, so I thought why the hell not lol. Now instead of bringing her cans of formula everywhere, digging through the formula to find the scoop that got buried while we were shuffling the diaper bag in and out of the car, screaming baby most of the time, we can just take this out, dump the exact amount of formula we need into a waiting bottle, and viola, a bottle ready to go! And the 3 compartments are perfect for if we're gone for a few hours!

So in all reality, this sounds more like I spoiled myself a little bit   but in the end, we all win! Novalee gets a cool snack cup, I won't have goldfish all over my floor, and Ness get's her bottles made faster when we go out, I get an easier way to make bottles. Yay! Just had to share my excitement lol. And tho I haven't tested the formula dispenser, we used to have one when I worked at a daycare and I loved it, and the snack cup is working superbly. I would recommend these products to anyone!

Haha the whole time I was reading this, I was thinking "pfft, she's spoiling herself, nice cover!" And you beat me to it.

New stuff is so fun!

I loved the formula thing, it helped so much. If the snack cup actually works I may have to get one. I usually just put his puffs/goldfish on the couch and let him have them but he throws them everywhere. Is it easy to get their little hands in?

I could actually use both of these. I have a two year old monster mess maker and my 5 month old princess and need both of those. Where can I get those?

I know haha.   But I could count it as spoiling at least one of them, my older DD has been carrying her snack cup around since we got back from the store! And no mess. Woo!

She hasn't had any problems putting her hand in it at all! She really seems to like it! And it's so pretty haha. They also had green and blue ones too! I ALWAYS had the problem of her throwing her snacks everywhere. We put her goldfish in this to try it at home and it kept them all in the cup, no mess!

OMG, I am so getting one. I am sick of picking up leftover goldfish and puffs after he's done. Or him finding them later and eating them yuck!

I got these at Safeway, but i'm pretty sure you can find them pretty much everywhere! The munchkin brand is pretty well known. I'd try Walmart, you might be able to get them for a little cheaper! Both of these were about $9 total.

YES, Novalee does this ALL THE TIME! I swear, we have to vacuum daily otherwise she picks up leftover snacks she smashed into the carpet from flinging them everywhere and tries to eat them, YUCK. lol

Yup. I try to vacuum daily but my kid thinks the vacuum will kill him so I have to do it when DH is awake or when MIL is home.

Lol, Novalee used to be scared of the vacuum but since we now vacuum so much she just watches it. Hahaha

Those snack cups work great until DD shakes her snacks into crumbs. Then crumbs fly out the top. So, I guess it depends on the snack. Lol

Lol, my fattie eats all the crackers before she can shake them into crumbs I guess. Goldfish don't really crumb tho unless they're already broken. Haha

We love the snack cups! We use them pretty much every day, especially when we are out and about. I breastfeed so I didn't ever have to use the formula dispenser but it looks neat!

Yeah Peyton hates the vacuum, even if I bring it out he flips out so I can't do it unless DH is here to actually hold him or MIL takes him into the other room.
