okay let me explain this mind blowing method of storing milk we have lol

We buy a 4L bag of milk that has 3 individual sacks.

Place the sack in the Jug and cut the corner (there is no resealing unless you want to clip it)

Pour it into your glass (It's made out of thick plastic and no, it will now collapse)

Once bag is empty, toss it out and repeat with a new bag

I also collect and donate my milk bags because they are made into a sleeping mat for people that live in poverty:

I dont know why it is so strange, because we store our breast milk in bags, so this isnt really all that different..

So I guess I question the fresh factor. Without having the lid on the milk it goes bad quick here. So how does your stay fresh?? I mean is it more directly form the cow than our is like less pastureized or somehting? Yea totally confused.

I like the reuse of the bags for mats that is a really awesome idea. And I get the idea of storing Breast Milk in bags because (this is me assuming and I will probably be laughed at but hey whatever) they have a seal on the top that you can close it like an envelope. I mean thats what I have read/heard/kinda seen. Never stored breastmilk or known anyone to store it so I am going on assumptions. Sry if they seem silly and naieve.

honestly I don't have the right answer for you but when we cut the corner, it's only a little slip. Also, the individual sacks are a little over 1L each and finishes very fast. 1 sack of milk lasts less than 1 and a half day for us. We buy 4L bags of milk every 3 days, so the freshness really is never a problem. Also I don\t think it's much different than a carton.

I also wanted to add that you can freeze the milk bags and they will stay perfectly fresh

My pet peeve is when he goes into the pantry, gets something out and leaves the door open! How hard is it to close a door? Or when he gets out things to make a meal or sandwhich he leaves everything out. Anyone else have this problem?
