Psh your doctor sounds retarded I nursed Cecilia until a few months after she turned two.
There where many times she didnt want to eat solids, just keep trying. I would suggest putting different finger foods into a cupcake dish or something similar kids have a fun time with that.

I breastfed my daughter til she was nearly 2 and a half. People always had negative comments and opinions. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. Do what you think is best.
