ovarian cysts

how do they check for them? i have been having a pain in my left side in that general area and everytime i have the pain i end up spotting not too long after im still having the pain now. when i have the pain it feels like a stabbing sharp pain and i get dizzy and feel sick along with the spotting tonight that dizziness has made my vision blurry. anyone else have this or know what it could be? my MIL said it could be a cyst and i need to go to the dr

It could be a cyst. There are two ways to check: ultrasound or laproscopic surgery. I've had both. Surgery is the best way to tell and they can drain them at the same time.
