Baby shower!

How many people did you invite? (Or whoever threw it for you..)

And how many people showed up?

Invited 25, 17 came.

about 30 the first time and about 14 showed up.

Damn!   My mom and sister have invited 70, but I know that maybe...40 including my close family will show up.

m not completely sure how many showed up to mine. my mom threw it and I was induced the day before my baby shower. but I did get a lot of gifts. this was over 7 years ago with my first. with this pregnancy i plan to invite about 40and expect about 25 to actually show.

My mom invited the whole world lol but like 40-50 came

100...15 -18 showed up ...there was a family fued going on and people were not coming to spite each other...

For Landon's baby shower I cannot remember how many were actually invited but we had a good 50+ that showed for sure!

For the sprinkle we're having for Mallory next weekend I've invited like 25 & so far we have like 16 that are coming. Or SAY they are coming lol we'll see.

My mom is inviting 45 people, that's mostly my family with a little bit of SO's family. His family isn't very close and the family on his mom's side is upset that we are keeping the baby. They messaged SO on Facebook and told him to put the baby up for adoption! Makes me so mad, but, whatever, I'm just happy some of his family is supportive and our child will have nothing to do with that side of his family.

I feel you. My husband's family, NONE of them will be at the shower. His brother is too stuck up, his dad doesn't do baby showers and stuff, he won't let me invite his mom because of the fact that.....well, he doesn't even talk to her. So, it is all my family and some friends. Most of his family doesn't even care that we're having a baby! Which is sad....But my son will have ALL the love and support he needs, no doubt. He won't be missing out, they will.

Exactly! That's how I feel, I don't want him around family that doesn't wanna be here for him anyways. Even if it was just myself and SO he would have more than enough love and support. I mean, it sucks, because SO's sister doesn't want anything to do with our baby because he is a boy (I don't know how immature a person could be). She was all for our baby right up until the day she found out he was a boy. I was PISSED. But you know what, I don't want someone that immature in my baby's life anyways.
