that's great but his mom is totally different. that's her only child and he was spoiled to death and still is babied by her. i'm sure she wanted him to have a big wedding and all that to do with a better person so she'll be really upset and that upsets him. i don't care either way. she'll have to come around whenever he does tell her.

now i'm the girl her son married and is less than 10 weeks away from giving birth to her granddaughter. i'm a part of the family no matter what

It wouldn't be right for you to say "accept our marriage or never see your grandchild" she'll probably be upset she wasn't told at first..but allow her the time to adjust without holding things over her head in time she'll adjust and it won't cause more unnecessary tension
