toddler puking

so, a couple of hours ago william was acting fine, running around. we got back from the store and he was coughing and puked a little. i didnt think nothing of it. just though maybe he choked on his water too hard. after that i made him dinner (was still acting fine right before dinner) i sat him in his chair and he would not eat. he started whining and looking upset and i felt him and he was a little warm. i gave him some fever/pain medicine and layed him in bed. he went straight to sleep then about 20 minutes later puked everywhere. all of it was the popcorn we ate earlier. i changed everything and put him back in bed and he started making the puking noise again, so i rushed him to the bathroom and it looked like he was fighting it. he didnt puke again so i layed him in bed propped up and hes asleep again.

could this be because he overate on popcorn? he was pointing at his stomach so im guessing it hurt.

If he felt warm like he had a fever, he's most likely sick. Something is going around, alot of kids are sick right now (mine too).

i wasnt sure if it was overeating or a bug because it happened so suddenly. hes never puked like this except baby spitups   its scary.

No, does sound like he just has a stomach bug.

My three year old threw up suddenly earlier as well, she had drank a lot and snacked some and after she finally decided to eat one of my cheese covered tots she started gagging and kind of projected throw up all the way to the bathroom. Since then she has been fine, this morning she felt just a little warm and had congestion and sneezing like her allergies were acting up or she was getting a cold. There is something going around though and I'm really hoping she doesn't have it..she goes to therapy and preschool so it's very likely she caught something.

i didnt think about him going to the doctor last tuesday. maybe he caught something from one of the kids there? gah, im afraid to go to sleep because i dont want him to start puking and choke or something while im asleep.
