is it ok

posted 5th Oct
For my one week old to sleep in her vibrating bouncy seat at night?? It's where she's most comfy right now and sleeps a lot more through the night. I keep her strapped in and only cover her legs. She just doesn't seem to like her pack n play much at all.

Mine did for 5 months ha!
Yes, it's fine. Just strap her in and make sure there are no inserts or anything that could block her airway if she moves her head to the side

LO fell asleep so many times in his swing when he was a newborn. It was the only way he'd sleep sometimes. It helped so much. Just make sure your LO's head doesn't fall over.

Honestly both of my boys napped in theirs A LOT. It was the only way I got regular time to clean and study! I couldn't bare the thought of letting them stay in it all night. I would be up every other minute to check on them.

I recommend a bassinet for all night, though. Get a noise machine or louder fan running away from the baby. The noise will help

Yep! DD slept best in it. We have a bassinet that she's grown to like, but some nights she just wants to be in her bouncer and will wake up and stay awake other wise.

I worried about that too, but being a newborn, my daughter didn't move at all. And if she did all that would happen was the bouncer would bounce a little tiny bit. Plus there are straps.

I say where ever they are most happy! My oldest slept in his swing, middle in his vibrating chair/rocker thing, and youngest both. But at night when they woke I co-slept.

My little guy sleeps great in his swing thingy that vibrates. And being that I had to go back to work already and have two other kids....I need sleep too! So as long as he was comfy and not in danger, I let him be. Hahaha! I make sure to check on him and he's been fine.

BUT forgot to say you can buy a vibrater thing so you can stick it in the basinet or crib. I have one in my play pin bassinet that is right next to my bed. In case one night I need to spread out.

YES! I am so excited never had it for my other three, but this one is spoiled with all the new things they have! It has a little box that vibrates and a remote to control how much it does, and you can turn it on and off without disturbing baby!

My daughter is 2 months old and slept in her bouncy seat the first month. She's actually sleeping in it now   but I move her to her play n pack in our room once I go to sleep and she sleeps in there now at night. She didn't like it at first tho.
