Wow, I feel like a dick. I didn't read OP's last post about PPD. If you feel like you can't handle it, I'd take a break for a little. Maybe take a nap or something?

Under your circumstances, no. Spending quality time with yourself (or even a friend) will actually help with your PPD.

I get that you need a break but what are you and him doing that you need to be alone?

it sounds like you don't really want the responsibility of being a mom   or maybe PPD? talk to your doctor maybe?

This! Can you have PPD 2 days postpartum or even a week after?

That's fine to do a date night. Especially if you might hve ppd definitley do thing for yourslef and your relationship. But just remember people have babies all the time. Does it suck that you can't spend one on one time together? Yes. But you make memories as a family, doing things together with and for the baby. I get it. My SO and I never got to date for long. We got preg 3 mos after we started dating. So one yr after we were together we had an infant. Our relationship had to move fast. Yes it is hard not getting date nights. But we take dd everywhere with us and do lots of family time. When she sleeps we have mommy and daddy time. You have to take advantage of the time you Do have alone together.

OP, it sounds like you don't want to be a mother. I'm assuming you haven't been to the doctor yet since you are not 6 weeks pp. That's usually when they will diagnose PPD. You should probably call your doctor now instead of waiting 5 more weeks.
