Drinking while pregnant

Now, don't jump on me lol
When I was pregnant with my son I had maybe 3 sips of wine total, I would pour myself a glass and not be able to take more than one sip. Since having him, I've developed quite a taste for wine!
Today, my first trimester ended! Whoop! I want to celebrate by having a drink(or half). I'm wondering if anyone thinks there's a difference between a glass of wine or a wine cooler? I'm pretty sure a wine cooler has even less alcohol. What about a really weak mixed drink(I know the bartender, and can make sure he legit only puts one shot of vodka)

I'm genuinely curious and OBVIOUSLY if drinking a shot of vodka in cranberry juice is more harmful than a glass of wine, I will go with wine.

No need to tell me "I NEVER drank during pregnancy". That's not what I'm asking.

I only EVER want alcohol when I'm pregnant (creepy little lush babies) but I would either take a few sips of beer or drink a couple sips from a wine cooler. I think you're better with a wine cooler but I think you'd be safe with regular wine too.

I hate beer, but craved it with my son lol
I really really want either a Jamaican Me Happy Seagrams wine cooler OR a shot of raspberry vodka in cranberry juice  

before i even found out i was pregnant man did i drink alot but i felt bad afterwords lol but on my 21 birthday my bf was like ill let you drink a beer if you want but i didnt sense i was/still am pregnant lol

i had at least 1 glass of wine a week every week in my third tri. its been proven to increase blood flow to the placenta. i personally waited until the third tri tho.

vodka has no proven benefits to anyone, at all.

I wouldn't chance it with vodka. Wine maybe. I knew this girl that drank Arbor Mist (she acted like some big wine drinker since she had a wine cooler in her kitchen full of Arbor Mist and Boones Farm. It made me LOL) everyday during her pregnancy and her daughter is fine as far as I know. Heh.

Wine coolers barely qualify as alcohol IMO, theres such a small amount of alcohol in them, I think the Bartles and James ones have about 5% alcohol by volume, which is less than a beer.

If anything, I'd go with the wine cooler ... I had a few sips of wine the other day, and I NEVER drink, but I kept craving the taste... It was weird because I had no clue what taste I was craving until I tasted it ?

Ive had a glass of wine and never really saw anything wrong with it. Or had a few sips of beer. IDK about the Vodka though only because its a higher alcohol by volume.

i was a pretty heavy drinker b4 i knew i was pregnant, but i just coudnt handle the smell or taste so took a test and i was pregnant b4 i was even due! i dont see the problem in haveing 1 standerd drink every now and then just dont make it a regular habbit. i hate wine but i love scotch, im 33 weeks and i have had 2 scotch cans during my pregnancy. i just sip on them and it ends up taking me an hour to drink it but i just enjoy the flavour.

I'm sorry but on what planet is smoking marijuana AFTER your baby is born worse than drinking a shot of vodka while you are? COME on chick get real.

A 1/2 a glass of wine or a wine cooler- not my thing- but I don't think you'll harm your baby. Hard liquor is not advisable.
