I felt like an idiot with my pregnant bloat/bump in the middle of a club called the boom boom room lol. I was sitting there like wtf I just wanna get drunk and dance! But instead I will sip on this one drink the entire night. lol

Honestly my instructor told the class that one drink is one drink no matter what, when it goes through the placenta is when it reaches a level where your liver can't detoxify your blood enough, therefore you feel drunk. Sipping one drink slowly wont hurt.
I asked because there has been all of the hype about one glass of wine a day la-de-dah.

The only reason I won't have a glass of wine is because I tried during other pregnancy's and it made me puke. Even the smallest amount as far as the blunt some people need not to judge others I'm a straight pothead. Everyone is old enough to make their own decisions.

OT, but I just looked up Stamford(I'm from MA originally) and you are like the furthest away in CT you can possibly get from me   You're near my midwife group though! I actually have to move to at least a town around Hartford area for them to do my home birth.

There is no difference. On my phone so I cant link the study but my midwife sent me something where they recently studied in Denmark where the women don't have as bad of alcohol habits as they do here. They determined up to a couple drinks a night won't cause harm. It's binge drinking often that can cause FAS. Doesn't matter what kind of drink -a mixed drink, glass of wine, glass of champagne, a beer, etc.

I ended up drinking half of a wine cooler that was 3.2% lol so I doubt any harm was done.

Oops that was supposed to say a week lol. But basically you could have a beer one night, a beer another night or a couple glasses of wine once a week and be fine. And yeah wine coolera are verrrrry mild lol

There were like 3 different posts about drinks last night on here lol and I kept suggesting the Stoli Razz with cranberry juice, and then I really wanted one. Glad I went with the wine cooler though, because we went out to play pool and I got cranberry juice with lime and SO got vodka cranberry and lime. Our drinks got mixed up and I took a sip of his and it tasted SOOOO nasty! And vodka and cranberry is normally my go-to drink  
My tastes have changed with pregnancy.

I've had a glass of wine here and there, hell I have a bottle of wine in the fridge right now lol. I don't see the harm in it, mind you I didn't touch alcohol until I hit third tri. I don't have it often though, gives me killer heartburn
