The problem I have with universal health care is that the Government cannot efficiently run the programs it already has. ALSO, if the government is in charge of everyone's healthcare, imagine the regulations they are going to pass to try and keep healthcare costs down (aka, regulations that are supposed to make Americans more "healthy".) I don't see how you can want socialism, but claim to want to vote for Gary Johnson, because he is definitely way more fiscally conservative than Romney.

Meh, I think we are smurfed either way.

This is what gets me too.
How in the world does Johnson appeal to a liberal, especially one who is so far left.

His stance on social issues, no doubt. He is pretty socially liberal.

yes, but a thinking liberal would see that he is for the individual and not for big government. I like his fiscal goals but i dont see how a liberal can support his stance on things that would impact the lifestyles of the poor so dramtically.
I wonder if they read or listen to anything beyond abortion and drugs.

Probably not, since most people I've seen arguing against Romney can only throw out the blunders he's made while talking to press, such as his airplane window joke/mistake/whatever, and their go to argument is the whole "OMG Romney will ban abortion and it will be horrible and AHHH". And when asked for proof on that statement, the asker is ignored. And you know, if you have a uterus/vagina and vote for Romney, you're a smurfing idiot.

The fact that you love Obama so much and then say that you also like Gary Johnson makes me think you are quite clueless about this whole thing.

Glad Obama gets your panties wet.

What makes you think the economy would start getting better under Obama if Obama was just continuing all of Bush's failed policies?

Gitmo, outsourcing, lobbyists, big banks, big corporations, raising the debt ceiling, not balancing the budget, tax cuts, earmarks, wars, Patriot Act, illegal wiretapping, suspension of Habeus Corpus...all things Obama has done the same as Bush did.

Now tell me how much you love Obama, but then you must have also loved what Bush did.

I really don't see how anyone who wants a "socialist democracy" would even been in the same ballpark as Johnson.

He is a Constitutional Libertarian like myself. The whole time during his debate commentary, he kept saying "where is that in the Constitution" and a tingle ran up my leg ala Chris Matthews.

He would cut the government down to nil, just like I want. He is the exact opposite of "socialist democracy."

I think he's become the "cool" candidate for young people to support when they want to stick it to the man.

If I come across an Obama supporter who is wavering on whether or not to support Obama or Johnson, I always try to lead them toward Johnson

I think its smurffy that Obama limited the amount of financial aid college students can get. How are people supposed to get jobs and better themselves if they cant get financial aid?!!

Im not voting for either because they are both idiots.

Sorry, but our government is broke. We spend $1.2 trillion every year that we don't have. We can't afford to keep subsidizing everyone's education.
