34 weeks & complete bedrest

posted 5th Oct
So I am 34 weeks today, I'm on complete bed rest.
Only time I'm supposed to get up is to take a shower or use the bathroom.
The physical therapist at the hospital suggested I find a new hobby to do in bed that will help make having to stay in bed easier. Any suggestions?

Practice sleeping for extended periods of time. I got really good at it toward the end of my pregnancy. Slept a minimum of 12 hours each day, usually up to 16. Certainly made the days go by quickly.

Crochet, knitting...you can get yarn and cheap kit to make knitted hats and play around with those and make one for every single member of your family and a ton for your kiddo.

If you have the money and enjoy reading, you can also invest in an ereader and get reading all the fantastic books you won't have time for when the baby comes. lol

At least you don't have too much longer.

Gimp is like photoshop but it's free. and you can get free kits to play with and decorate pictures and stuff. I hope you find something to help keep you from being too bored

A knitting kit is so much easier if you're just brand new to the whole thing. lol

Something like this makes hats, and Walmart sells it. lol Kept me busy pre-baby.
