re: 34 weeks & complete bedrest

I'm 17 weeks (tomorrow) and on complete bed rest. At least you're almost done with your pregnancy. I'm also a SAHM, and have no clue how I'm going to handle a 16 month old Monday-Friday (DH has weekends off). I also have ome health nurses coming over giving me IV's daily. I have no one to ask to help me, my mom is wheel chair bound and everyone else works.
I've been back in the hospital since Tuesday, so DH and my dad have been switching on and off taking care of DD.
When I was home, I just watched tv and movies. I am guilty of getting up and cooking lunch for DD and I, then doing the dishes. That's what put me back in the hospital.
Try knitting or crocheting. Puzzle books. Coloring (I do that with DD). You'll find something! I'm still trying to get use to bed rest and its been only a week.

Oh that has to suck ! I'm so sorry ! I know it sucks for me. I've been on complete bedrest for a little over 3 weeks now. I was in the hospital from Sept 11 until this past Wednesday ( 3 weeks total)
But it has been easier at home, time goes by quicker than it did at the hospital that's for sure.

Why are you on bedrest if you don't mind me asking.

3 weeks in the hospital?! I'd go nuts. I've been in and out for a little over 2 weeks. Contractions, at first they were BH but then very very regular and I'm already dilated to 1. I've had labor stoped 3 times already. I'm also severely dehydrated. So that's not helping. My doctor doesn't want to chance going into premature labor again, so he put me on bed rest. Only allowed to do bathroom trips, kitchen to get food and drink for DD and I, car trip to the doctor who is literally right around the corner and I'm also allowed to go from bed to couch, I just need to limit doing that since its a little bit of a walk from my room to living room.
I honestly don't know how I'm going to make it to 36 weeks.

Yes ! It was horrible. They was gonna keep me until I had her.
which would have been 3-4 more weeks but luckily they let me go home.

I'm sorry ! I hope you make it far enough so baby is ok !
