FML migrane makes me want to die

I have had a migraine since giving birth. I am 10 days PP and it feels like its just getting worse. Yesterday I experienced a migraine aura, who the smurf knew those even existed, not me. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aura_%28symptom%29
I am miserable. This smurfing sucks. I wonder what went wrong with my body. Its either a spinal headache or my anemia i guess.

Did you get an epi? A friend of mine had to go get a blood patch to make her PP migraine go away :-/

I get migraine aura all the time :/
I start seeing spots and lights and then one eye goes completely blind.
Then my head starts hurting the smurf out of me. I've suffered from them since I was a kid. I hate it :/

I got a spinal headache this last time from the epi. They had to do a blood patch.... it helped a little.

Now mine have taken on a much more fun role -- blindness.

You should talk to a doctor about relpax. it's smurfing awesome.
I cant function when I have a migraine, I mean I literally have to lay in a dark quiet room with no smell until it goes away unless I take one of those, they work in 45 minutes - hour.

I have literally had a migraine for 10 days. I will have to talk to my mw about it at my 2 week. It sucks because I had to get the epi at 10 cm because I had a cervical lip. And had it for 20 minutes before I had the baby. He literally put it in like 5 times before it he was satisfied, I bet i do have a spinal fluid leak.

Mine does the same, luckily only one eye goes blind though. I hate it !

I'm going to write that down. I am not sure if i've had the aura thing before or not I guess I never paid any attention before hand. I have to lay down in a dark quiet room as well just so I don't feel like I am going to die, but then as I lay there it's still hell.

OP I hope you can talk to your mw soon and get rid of that damned thing! I had one after my first child, and I did receive the epidural.. after an old lady attempted a few times and failed...a man came in and got it first try.

my neurologist said that the relpax is fine.
he's given it back to me in my third trimester. i only take it when i HAVE to but when youre blind from it, its kinda a god send.

my left eye goes blind. theyre making me get a MRI for it

Same with me ! It's my left eye.
Yeah I've had to get 3 MRIs throughout my life to check about them.
Luckily everything came back normal. migraines run in our family pretty bad.

mine too.
ive had a few MRIs before but the blindness is a new phenomenon so theyre making me get another. im not thrilled since im pregnant but what are ya gonna do?

Yeah true. I hope everything turns out normal !

The first time mine did the whole blindness think freaked me out.
