lice

does anyone know any home remedies that work to kill lice. my son is in school and now has lice and gave it to my 9 month old

I've heard mayo works. Google it.

You can nit pick everything out and comb out all the eggs. It's a tedious process but not too bad if it's on short or thin hair.

i did it says to leave mayo on for 10 hrs i dont see my kids doing that

A really good one tooth live comb and just comb the hair constantly. Wash with blue suave shampoo and let sit a few mins. When you pull the live of squish them with your fingernail and the eggs. If those don't work put conditioner or mayo on te hair thick for a long time and the rinse it out and do the combing some more. You have to comb it several times a day for at least 2 weeks.

Your best bet is to pick pick pick. Lice is a bitch to get rid of sometimes. You want to make sure to wash everything and do some picking every day   My friend put listerine in my hair when my sister gave it to my kids. Don't know if it worked or if I never really had it...

Wash the hair with vinegar!! It has to be the white distilled vinegar! It isnt plesant at all and it stinks but it works!! And tyhen of course like everyone else says you need to come them out! you can do the vinegar everyday but dont use shampoo with the vinegar or it defeats the purpose!

U have to treat the beds and stuff and the floor and smurf. Washw hair bruses in hot water and soap ect i har lice wash all the laundry asap.

I thought vinegar just loosened up the eggs so they were easier to comb out.

The acid in the vinegar actually kills them! Like when you are trying to burn fat and do vinegar shots...it burns them!

My mom did MAYO it worked! Smelled bad but is pretty good for your hair!!!
