I just think of a dog every time I hear it. They thought I was a boy until I was delivered too. I'm pretty sure I may have lost my penis when I heard what they were gonna name me.

My mom wanted to name me Jade but my dad didn't like it so she made a list of names she liked and he picked my name, which is Jessamine, off that. I HATE my name lol!

I was supposed to be Maggie but the little girl down the street was named Maggie so my mom called me Megan instead. We moved a year later :/
She really regrets not naming me Maggie. I'm thrilled, I much prefer Megan.


If I was a boy I would have been Warner.

My name is Lisa Louise but my parents were going to name me Tisha Marie(or Louise). My mom was afraid people were going to call me tissue paper so they changed their minds. Not that my nickname of Lu Lu Bell is really that much better lol.

Were you in my parents living room last night? We had this exact conversation with my parents. They didn't have a name for me or my sister if we were boys, and we didn't have a name for Anya if she was a boy.

my mom wanted to name me Jazzmine/Jazmin/Jazzmyn. my dad didn't like any of those spellings so i am Jasmine. i don't like the name either way.

First I was going to be Katie, the Brianna, but they named me Kimberly after the hot chick in my parents' lamaze class.

If I would've been a boy, my name would have been Kent Wade...ugh...so glad I was a girl because I'm sure it would've become "Can't Wait"...lol

My mom wanted to name me RaeLynn...but since she named my brother, my dad named me Courtney (mom spelled it Kortni).
