re: Induced with pitocin?

quick and easy for me. The contractions were getting super painful fast but I got and epi eventually.

Freaking horrible.

Both my girls had to be induced with pit. My first dd my water broke but no regular contactions started. They had my pit level to 6 & i was able to go without meds or epi but was worse than going completely natural like i did with my ds. My second dd same as first but they had to up my pit level to 22 before contractions started. It was so rough i had to get meds through the iv. Never had an epi with any of my three im scared of it lol. I wanted all natural births but my last the level was so i high i couldnt breathe talk or anything. Thought i was gonna break my hospital bed rails off lol.

I was induced Wednesday morning at nine am. My labor was super easy. I didn't have an epi or pain medicine. I delivered her at 12:50 only part that hurt was the last 20 and pushing. I only pushed four times and she was out. Afterwards I was able to walk around, the nurses thought I was nuts....

Quick but painful as smurfing hell.
Way more painful and uncomfortable than natural contractions. Learned later they prob were overdosing.

Quoting AA&L:" I had a bad experience with Pitocin. It was long, hard, painful and at the last minute I didn't pass the blood test required for the epidural, so it was traumatizing for me."

That's exactly what it was like for me.

After a few hours, the contractions became absolutely unbearable. I took the epi, even though I had vowed not to. I was then able to relax and started to progress.

At least I didn't end up with a c-section.

I hope to go into labor on my own this time.

Started Pit at 5:00 a.m. got epi at 6:30 p.m., stalled labor, had c-section. :/

Mine were pretty much 30 seconds apart and coming hard for like 5 or 6 hours after they started picking up. I handles them fine but I was soooo tired I gave in to the Epi.

my water broke and my contractions never started so i got induced with pitocin.i wanted a med free birth but the pain was unbearable.

slow. They did such a smalla mount to just help me get going. It was about a 12 hour labor but only a the last few hours were rough  

and i had no other medication during so no pain meds.. it was an amazing experience good luck!

I started it at 7 am the doctor broke my water at 8. He wasnt born till 10:35 the next morning . It was the worse i had to lay in bed all that time becasue of my water being broke. When i got the epidural they jammed me 3 times with the needle because they couldnt ind the space. Then it fell out, i had to get another one in because they thought i was gonna have to have a c-section. It was not fun.

long and it made me itchy all over, They gave me benadryl for the itchyness

Long and I got sick. I was on it or 4 hours ad only dilated to a 7. I ended up having a C-section

With my first I was 8 days past my due date and it was pretty rough and almost stalled. Thankfully I did progress further and avoided the "c-section discussion". With my second I was only 4 days over and it was quicker but still very painful and I got the epidural with both. First was about 13 hours long, second was like 6 hours?
