Quoting Lem0nz:" Quick and easy. "
I had a couple of rounds of cervidil first. And then I was given the option of getting pitocin right away or going home over night. I chose to go home over night and by the time I was back at the hospital for our arranged time, I was almost in active labour. I didn't need much pitocin (very low dose).
I had planned a natural birth. I ended up giving birth without pain medication as I had wanted. I was able to labour in the tub as planned and my doula was at my side. The midwives used a wireless monitor that is waterproof
. I gave birth less then 4 hours after getting the pitocin, and almost an hour of that was pushing.
It was amazing!
