It may be a yeast infection and monistat is safe cause I used it during my first trimester get the 3 day one but you should talk to your ob if you have one

If you end up doing that, eat yogurt after to prevent it from happening again!

i used the 3 day one, i wanted that thing gone fast..lol... and due to medical issues I'm prone to uti so know all about them and they will only causse you discomfort when you pee and not cause you to itch/burn all the time.

No ma'am, we make too much money for government assistance. I didn't think of PP, I'll call them! Thanks

Yes, you can use monistat externally.

It's called a vagina... And your pregnant and don't have a doctor? You really need to get one so you can get your monthly check-ups. I wouldn't be asking anyone but a doctor what you should do for treatment, especially since you don't know for sure what's going on. It could be BV and not a yeast infection...

There should be some sort of clinic or something that will see you for free or use a sliding scale based on your income. Not lecturing you just hope you are able to get the care you need. I also have no insurance and am 29 weeks pregnant and have gone to a clinic the whole time so I know how it is to not be insured! I am no doctor but I remember having a yeast infection during my last pregnancy and not being able to use monistat. I think my OB told me to use gyna lotrimin or a generic brand with the same ingriedients. Good luck.

I think mine was a bacteria so I had to take the pills. A monistat doesn't work for that. But I have never had one where I was told it is ok to use. Honestly I would still go in and make sure it is the kind you can treat with that first.

I am a nurse who works at a clinic, and all of the pregnant ladies that get yeast infections, which indeed you do have, we tell them to take the over the counter 7 day Monistat. Don't use any other kind. Also, you are not allowed to use the oral medication since you are pregnant.

Is it different if you have the bacteria? Because I was always told that bacteria ones have to use antibiotics.
