Can you shave your c-section scar?

posted 5th Oct
I'm 4 weeks pp and I'm scared to shave it.

It's pretty much completely healed but it's also completely numb so it feels strange to shave.

Is it okay to shave it? It looks pretty goofy down there with just that little strip of hair lol.

I'm 5 weeks PP and I can't shave mine. It feels too weird. I can't stand anything touching that region with the numbness. It disturbs me!

Eh, I'd wait a little while longer.

Your organs might fall out.

No but seriously, if its not -completely- healed you could run the risk of cutting it open again and getting an infection.

Id wait until its completely healed first. I didnt have a csection, but if I did, I'm sure the last thing Id be worried about is a little hair. lol

I know I hate it! I avoid having anything come into contact with it. When I'm getting dressed I will go out of my way not to touch it. The numbness is way too weird it makes me feel sick.
