mucus plug question (maybe tmi)

Okay so I have been trying to loose my mucus plug off and on since 35 weeks. I know that it regenerates itself but for the past 4 days I have been loosing gobs and gobs of it. Then today I pass about the size of 1/2 dollar.. I know every woman can be different but how much did you loose?

I lost a ton of mucus for weeks before I went into labor. I wore a pad because I was loosing so much goo.

Lol as long as I know its normal.. if I don't have him by 12th then I'm being induced due to gd. I just wanted to make sure someone else experienced this bc my mil seems to think its weird.

i started losing tons of mine 4 days ago and kept thinking that i must have lost it all by now and theres no way there can be any more left and it just keeps coming . can't believe how big the mucus plug is!! it really is one of the most discusting things i've seen haha not sure if the size of the mucus plug varies much ...

wow aren't you passed your due date are they inducing you or something

yep .. im 41+1 today !! the earliest the hospital will induce me here is 10 days past my due date . i have a doctor appointment in a couple of hours and he's going to sweep my membranes again & im going to schedule an induction at the same time ... but heres to hoping the sweep works because i want to go naturally

thanks ! my induction is scheduled for monday if i havn't gone into labor by then so we'll see . good luck with everything to you as well . enjoy these last weeks
