what were your contractions like when they first started?

im getting tighting with pain im timing them but hey arnt regular but hurt alot

To be honest, I was having contractions for two weeks and I had no idea what they were. It just felt like my LO was stretching out in there. My stomach would get hard and I'd feel her pushing against my stomach then she'd stop, do it again two or three times then no more for a few hours. lol

Like gas pains and me having to take a smurf lol
Then they turned into EXTREME period like cramps

Mine were slight pelvic pressure with my stomach tightening


Been having them 5min apart for 3 weeks now since I lost my mucus plug. But as for actual labor contractions mine start at 2min apart with a lot of pelvic pressure.

mine feels.like period pain im getting the for 50s hen 4mins and then 20s after another 4mins and then i had another it lasted 57mins after 4 mins

Like period cramps...then like bad period cramps...then like BURNING period cramps...

Then like period cramps on freaking crack.

mine were like period cramps and once they went away for a second they came right back, and nothingggg helped. you could be having braxton hicks contractions, which for me, hurt WAY more than real labor contractions.

i was also seen in labor and delivery last week for the same thing because i could have sworn i was in labor (the following is TMI...) but turns out it was just a UTI which causes contractions but not labor contractions.

I felt constant period cramps the whole last month, pelvic bone pain is super normal.

I you can feel the pain come on sudden and go after a minuet or two and then come back again then its labor. If it comes on slow and last for a while then dissipates slow then its not.

I've been having the same type of contractions, but mine are regular. About 10-15 minutes apart for over a week now. Only 1 cm dilated. Everyone's different though.

Mine felt like period cramps, but didn't hurt. I just felt a lot of pressure in my tailbone. I gave birth on Sept 1; well Thursday night I was having contractions but didn't think anything of it because they were irregular. I ended up going to the hospital Friday evening, not because I was in pain but because I was bleeding. Foud out I was 6cm dialted when I arrived. So if I was you I would call your doctor and see if they want you to come in if you think you're having real contractions.

I am still unsure wtf a contraction is ... I get this weird pain feels like a cramp through my vaginal walls idk if this is contractions or what .. my doc and everyone says they feel like menstrual cramps but i haven't felt anything like that   maybe im just weird

Because you haven't had a contraction.
