We're a bit under that. I'm a freakin' public employee at that! I shell out $400 every paycheck (paid every 2 weeks) for a family of four. That doesn't include the $1,500 deductible per person per year that has to be met as well as a 20% copay. People who don't pay for insurance don't get it. My salary is basically to only cover my famly's insurance. People above the poverty limit get penalized in so many different ways. Now with Obamacare I don't even have the option of dropping people from my insurance
