re: Naming your child after a place.

The name Brooklyn is too overused but it didn't loose it's beauty. I think it's absolutely sweet!

Plus, India, which is a continent, is one of my very favorite names for a girl. It's so rare over here... I love it so much, mainly because of how exotic it sounds  

I like place names sometimes... I like the name Zaire, and I know a Tanxania. But they named her after their ancestors, so I can't really knock it. I don't like pointless pace names our over used oneAsia,India...s, like London, Paris,

I like some place names as long as they are spelt the proper way.

I actually like Memphis, I would probably use it or consider it if we ever had another boy.
