Absolutely. I am also pro-choice. Romney is clearly on the different end of the spectrum. I am quite a bit more Liberal that I like to believe but my party affiliation is based on how I feel about government entitlements.

While I disagree with some of Romney's social platforms, I know that there are already laws in place that *should protect certain things like that. And, I can't stand Obama

I have a friend, a close friend   who has just been downright nasty about this election. We are obviously voting differently but come on. Debate, don't turn it into drama

I try not to talk to friends about politics. I have a few who are very conservative... and things would get very heated if we tried to discuss politics   So we just leave it alone lol.

IKWYM. It has honestly been really hard sometimes not to update my FB status about something political but I don't want that drama smurf on there. I wanted so bad to post about Romney rocking the debate last night and I stopped because i knew it would just get nasty. Not worth it. They can vote their way, I will vote mine. But honestly, with all of the polls I have seen....I'm not holding out a lot of hope for my boy

I don't see him winning :/ It's not because I'm an Obama supporter, I just don't see it happening. His views are so radical and different, I don't think anyone is gonna go for it. We as a country are scared of such dramatic change. Not to mention, I honestly think the killing of Bin Laden and sudden support of same-sex marriage sealed the deal with Obama for another term.

I don't think he did too well, TBH. He was rude and arrogant. He kept cutting off the host, and that just made me go

I just think that people want to give him another change. I HOPE Romney wins but I'm not holding my breath. I understand WHY a lot of people like Obama and those people's views and needs won't change. Someone called Obama the "food stamp" president. I don't have anything against food stamps or anything, I have been on them, but I see a lot of people voting for him because they think he will take care of them. That is where I have the biggest issue. It is not the responsibility of the government to give handouts all the time. It may not be all Obama's fault that people view him as an easy handout but it does kinda guarantee him another term. People love free smurf.

I can see your point. But, that's not his fault entirely. People are abusing the system. Which is smurfed up. I see people abuse it daily when they come into my store to buy something. It irritates me beyond belief. The benefits are there to help when someone needs it, not when they want it. I could easily get food stamps right now. EASILY. But I don't want them, nor do I need them. But I can definitely see that side of it.
