A+ blood type for me would be same for dad?

If I'm A+ that means my dad has to have A+ blood as well, or no?

Not necessarily. There are three different kinds of genes for blood type, A, B, and O. Each child gets two, one from each parent. A and B are both dominant over type O.

AA, OA, or AO = type A
BB, OB, or BO = type B
AB or BA = type AB
OO = type O.

Everyone also is Rh positive or Rh negative, and that could come from either parent. So each one of these types is also either + or -

well im A+ and so r 3 of 4 of my siblings. my dad is A+ and my mom is O+ n my one sister has A-. so it could be but not deffin

My sister and I have the same as my dad (A+)- but my other sister has the same as my mom (O)

I'm B- and Dh is A+. Dd has has dh's blood type. Thank god for the rhogam shot otherwise she could've had problems.

I am A-, got that from my mom. DD is O+ and DS is A+ , which means DH is + something. We don't know his blood type.

so you would have to be AO and DH would have to be _O in order to get an O child.

Both of my parents are AB+, I'm AB+, my sister is A+.

That's what I figure, eventually, I want to get him typed.
I was so mad when they told me DS was A+, I hate the RhoGam shot.

Hm, DH could have AO genes, making him an A+ but still have an O+ daughter.

My dad is O+, my mother is AB+.... I am Aneg.   lol Not sure how that happened!!!! My brother is the same as my mother.
