Superficial qualities that would prevent you from dating

Just curious but would a superficial quality ever stop you from dating someone?

For example: would you not date someone because they don't have a car and you would either have to take a long bus ride or have to go pick them up to go on a date.
Or would you not date someone because they make less money than you or are unemployed?
Or would you not date someone who is X age and still lives in their mommas basement?

Those are just examples...

I wouldn't date anyone I wasn't physically attracted to and I probably wouldn't date anyone that was the same age as me or younger.

MUST BE SEXY, must be cute, can't even think about dating someone that didnt physically make me wet my panties by looking at them.

Not a gold digger but he would have to make good money for me to even be attracted to him.

I don't think those are superficial reasons personally.


barring extenuating circumstances I wouldn't date someone who doesn't have a car, work, support themselves, doesn't have aspirations beyond working a min wage job, has children they do not see/ support, lives with their parents, has kids with more than 2 women. Im sure there are more but that's all I can think of right now. haha

Not sure if you'd consider this superficial, but someone who has poor hygiene. It seriously grosses me out if a guy doesn't smell nice.
And honestly just being a bum. No ambition, no car, no job, no money, no house, it's a no go. I don't want no scrub..

Is super passive.
Has kids very close in age with more than one woman (like 3yrs or less is too close imo)
Dresses like a dumbass.
Doesn't use proper English or is horrible at spelling (makes me think they are illiterate)

That would make me a hypocrite, I have 3 children with 2 men, oldest two with one, youngest with another. However there is a 10yr gap between my middle child and my youngest. For me it would depend on the circumstances.

Personally the thought of dating someone with kids period, never floated my boat

If a father, must be in that child's life and helping to support them.

Has to be at least my intelligence level.

I think as a woman, I'd just have a hard time dating a guy and being the 3rd "baby mama".
A guy I dated had 2 kids with one woman, had another by a 18 year old girl fresh out of high school, and was talking about wanting one with me. It just turned me off. Had he had been like, the love of my life, maybe it wouldn't have bothered me, ya know?
But he was also exactly what you described.. Lol.
