Grunting?!

My daughter is a little over two weeks and constantly grunts... She wiggles around alot when grunting... What could this be? I feel so lost. She is never gretsy & rarely crys.

is she having regular bowel movements?

yeah she had three dirty diapers maybe four. I cannot remember 100% but deff three. & lots of hiccups.

Mine does that too, she's 5 weeks. She's very noisy! I wouldn't worry if she's having regular stools and isn't fussy.

Mason is 7 weeks and ever since day 1 he has been a grunter..never cries either...i figure its his way of talking to me  

If she is just grunting and not straning to use the restroom, and she is not crying, I wouldn't worry too much. She is probably just havig fun grunting... LOL It can be commical though, tese lil ones!

Mine is super noisy too! She keeps me up at night sometimes cause she's grunting and making such loud noises. It cracks me up, I can't help but laugh.

The pedi told me they do that because they strain since they are not use to having bowel movements...my daughter does it also...the pedi told me she will grow out of it as she gets older... They even do it when they pass gas
